Hello Operator,
I'm Kaan, an Art Scientist from Berlin (DE), specializing in Sound, Lights, and Automation. Currently, I'm expanding my horizons at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem (NL), where I'm studying Design, Art & Technology.
With a solid background in IT and Media Management, I've found my niche in the cultural multimedia sector. My upbringing in Berlin's vibrant arts scene has fueled my passion for blending technology and art. I'm driven by the desire to bring technological fantasies to life - whether it's designing interactions of body-responsive machine- sound- and light systems, automation, investigating multi-agent systems or technical ecologies or spending my time soundscaping.
Storytelling is at the heart of my work. I often find myself building tools or interfaces that allow interaction within a framework I've designed. The most rewarding part is witnessing the moment of exploration and learning when one begins to "play" - a state of being often overlooked in our fast-paced world.
I believe in the power of mistakes as stepping stones to self-discovery. Once we let go of the fear of making mistakes, we can truly reflect and grow. My goal is to create platforms that encourage my audience to reach this point of self-discovery.
If you have any ideas, are puzzled by questions, searching for
collaboration or just fancy a chat about my work feel free to send me
an email - you can find my contact information right here. I’m always excited about exchanging perspectives!
